Quick answer: Choose the Galaxy A57 5G if a lighter phone and a higher-resolution ultrawide camera justify the extra cost. Choose the Galaxy A37 5G if you mainly want a large 120Hz AMOLED screen and can buy it for meaningfully less with comparable warranty cover. Compare the exact Pakistani variants before deciding.
Comparison updated: 16 October 2026. This is a specifications-based buying guide using Samsung's official product information, not a hands-on review. Local selling prices were not independently verified, so this guide does not quote a supposedly current market price.
Galaxy A57 vs A37: the key differences
Display: Both have a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen and a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. The A57 uses Super AMOLED Plus; the A37 uses Super AMOLED.
Weight: A57: 179g. A37: 196g. The 17g difference makes the A57 lighter on paper.
Rear cameras: A57: 50MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 5MP macro. A37: 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP macro. Both list optical stabilisation for the rear main camera.
Front camera: Both list 12MP.
Battery: Both list a typical 5,000mAh capacity.
Pakistan configurations checked: Samsung's linked A57 page lists 12GB RAM and 256GB storage; the linked A37 page lists 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. These are specific variants, not a claim that every unit has the same memory.
Which offers better value in Pakistan?
Start with two written quotes for the exact RAM and storage combination you intend to buy. Ask whether each quote covers a new sealed unit, the applicable local warranty and the device's PTA status. Comparing a locally warranted phone with a differently configured imported unit can produce a misleading price gap.
Our buying advice is conditional: if the A57 costs only a little more and you value its lighter body or ultrawide specification, the upgrade may suit you. If the difference would consume money needed for a charger, protective case or other essentials, shortlist the A37 first. This is an editorial judgment about priorities, not a measured performance result.
Which is better for photos and video?
The A57 has the higher-resolution ultrawide camera in this comparison. That makes it worth considering for group photos or wide scenes, but megapixel count alone does not establish image quality. Both phones list a 50MP main camera with OIS and 4K video recording at 30fps. Examine original photo and video samples in lighting similar to your own use before paying extra.
Display, battery and everyday use
The shared screen size and refresh-rate specification mean neither phone should win your shortlist on those two numbers alone. Try text readability, comfortable brightness and how the phone feels in your hand. The lighter A57 may matter more to you than a small difference elsewhere on a specification sheet.
Equal 5,000mAh battery capacities do not prove equal endurance. Mobile signal, display settings, apps and usage affect real battery life. We have not run a controlled battery or gaming test on these phones, so we do not assign battery-life hours, gaming frame rates or benchmark scores.
Before buying either phone in Pakistan
Confirm the full model number and memory variant on the invoice. Ask the seller to demonstrate the device's registration status and explain who supplies warranty support. Check the condition, return terms and included accessories. For a used unit, inspect the display, cameras, charging port and any disclosed repair history before payment. A lower advertised price is useful only when the offer meets your requirements.
Our recommendation
Shortlist the A57 for its lighter build and ultrawide camera specification. Shortlist the A37 when its actual quote leaves a useful saving and the shared headline display and battery specifications meet your needs. There is no universal winner without a verified price difference and your priorities.
